COVID-19: OCTOBER UPDATE

With the newly reintroduced restrictions following an increase in Covid-19 infections, we are having to review the planned reopening of our clubhouse and activities programme.

We are only able to open the clubhouse on a very limited basis, and are providing toilet facilities on the ground floor at the weekends until 1700hrs. However, we request that you do not use this as a changing area. Hand sanitisers and wipes are available in the entrance porch. The Lookout Lounge upstairs remains closed for the moment, but Bosuns Table are open, and warmly welcome club members.

The Autumn Sunday series started on 13th September, following a huge effort and much preparation to comply with Scottish Government and RYAS Scotland guidance on activities afloat and ashore, and we are only able to offer very limited access to the changing rooms, and no showers. Furthermore, the new restrictions mean that we can now only have a maximum of 30 on the water in organised racing, so the team are looking at ways to ensure this while providing sufficient rib support and race management. Priority will go to club members and we ask you to continue respecting the constraints we are still needing to keep in place to enable you all to keep safe and keep sailing. As soon as we can open up more of your clubhouse and offer more activities, we will! All changes will be posted here and on our various social media groups.
